reclaimed sewing table

This side table was made after I found the metal base in the street and fell in love with the curves and lines of the metalwork.

I dismantled it and rearranged the parts to make the table as you see it (after a bit of work to clean it up and paint it!)  All the wood is reclaimed from a building site skip so it’s definitely an eco-friendly project.

The table-top and shelves are all curved to fit the metal base and help emphasise the wonderful lines of the sewing-machine base.
